straight out of big texas, carmen rodgers is a jazzy soul singer that can slang vocals with the best of them. truly talented she reminds me why i started this blog in the first place - as a vechicle for promotion. i'm just a lowly blogger but its truly a crime that artists like carmen (and i know its not all about the money), are not paid out the wazoo, because their talent is extraordinary.y'all forgive me forgive me for getting on my soap box, but though i'm not an artist i am very sensitive about this shit. unfortunately i don't have a video to share, but if you check out carmen's myspace page you get a healthy dose of southern-fried soul.
