lb is back!!! little brother, the greatest thing to come out of north carolina since krispy kreme donuts and putt-putt golf are ready to launch their 3rd studio album getback. if the first single good clothes is any indication, the new ablum will be a certified classic. now let me say, good clothes is truly dope however i may be bias considering i am a true carolina boy. so much so that the first verse could be 1997 - 2001 in my life story. let's examine shall we?
"j.riggins" - my store when i was in college because like the song suggests, i had a hook-up there. i can even remember racking up during its going out of business sale at four seasons mall.
"slacks and polos, you better watch that boy in durangos" - anybody that knows me or any of my boys during that period (BCA, Verge, or them A Nu Nupes) you know that was our uniform. i had 3 pair of durangos my damn self.
"almost broke but you still 'gon see'em at the T game pimpin' through the greensboro coliseum" - ok no matter the occasion (A&T vs. UNCG basketball, A&T homecoming step show, etc.) you could definitely catch me pimpin' through the greensboro coliseum and i must say i probably was broke, but i had on my good clothes.
i rest my case.
