family, i received snippets of 88-keys' the death of adam about a month ago and i must say i was completely dissatisfied. my dissatisfaction didn't stem from what i heard, but from only being able to hear 30 seconds of each track. i needed more! so i had to lay my pride down and beg my friends at decon records for an advance copy (peace alma!). it arrived two weeks ago. in those two weeks, i haven't gone a day without listening to it. one word - dizzzz-ope! the album follows our friend adam through man's journey to acquire the power-u (check your wu-cabulary). its brilliant with love below-esque honesty and humor. the album which drops nov 11th features cameos by phonte (of little brother), redman, kid cudi, j*davey, bilal, and kanye west who is the executive producer.this is officially my favorite hip-hop album of 2008!
